BIOGRAPHY
Mackenzie Madison Glazewski is an American artist from Roseville, Minnesota. She studied at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a 2-Dimensional Emphasis and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. She is a third-generation artist, following the footsteps of her mother and grandmother. Her familial background in art has propelled her in her pursuits to become an artist. Her work focuses on environmental and political turmoil. She has exhibited in several important galleries in the Midwest such as Ovature Center for the Arts in Madison, Wisconsin (2023), Women Made Gallery (2018, 2019) in Chicago, Illinois, and Frederick Layton Gallery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (2020). Mackenzie currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Mackenzie’s work explores the environmental world from various facets, including but not limited to environmental awareness, anthropology, architecture, and aesthetic appreciation.
